Bureau V is a collective of architectural expertise interested in the production of new feelings. Founded by Stella Lee, Alexander Pincus, and Peter Zuspan, the studio explores a variety of technique-driven modes of production in order to establish a set of works within architectural practice that support a theory of architecture as personal.
Peter Zuspan is an architect and a musician. His collaborative work has been exhibited or performed at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Smithsonian Institute, the Zentrum für Kunst und Mediatechnologie , the MOCA, the National Design Museum, the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, as well as other international venues. Prior to founding Bureau V, he has worked at Diller Scofidio + Renfro and EAR Studio (with Ben Rubin). Peter is also a classically trained opera singer. He has performed throughout Europe and America in productions ranging from singing distorted drones and engineering audio installations with Arto Lindsay to fully staged operas.
